Emma Barbato is noting a milestone worth marking: Bruce Ryder is beginning to turn up in places she never anticipated when she built him.
This weekend, Bruce will be presented to students at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) by Digital Media Lecturer, Kate Ayrton. It follows a contribution Emma just completed to an academic paper for Deakin University, a recent industry feature interview with Mi3, a place on the first AI track at Mumbrella 360, and inclusion in the Queensland State Government Graduate program. Taken together, it marks a shift from entertainment into something closer to evidence, a case study in what happens when technology, storytelling and interactive entertainment collide.
